NEST New York founder Laura Slatkin has always found inspiration in the flower market. One day she came across these very large buds that were so unattractive she had to ask what they were. She learned they were poppy buds. Week after week, she began to notice the evolution of this ugly bud to an extraordinary flower. This evolution became her inspiration to create Wild Poppy.
